Cyber Basics Review (or CBR) - Free IT support for small businesses and charities
Many small businesses and charities may feel that there is nothing they can do to protect themselves from cybercrime.
During a Cyber Basics Review (or CBR), a Herts-based IT expert will sit down with you and look at your computers and processes to ensure that you are getting the basics right. This sort of service, which provides you with an action plan to make your business safe, would normally cost hundreds of pounds, but you can have one for free (whilst stocks last!).
The scheme is funded by David Lloyd, the Police and Crime Commissioner for Hertfordshire and operated in partnership with Hertfordshire County Council’s Trading Standards Business team alongside Hertfordshire Growth Hub and aims to raise awareness of the importance of cyber security amongst small business in Hertfordshire.
